History

January 1893	Started business as Kuwayama Hikojiro, Leather goods.
December 1933	Established as a joint-stock corporation at Nagoya city.
April 1961	Built Chigasaki Factory in Chigasaki city, Kanagawa Prefecture.
October 1963	Changed corporate name to Sunco Luggage Co., Ltd.
January 1966	Moved and established head office in Nagakute-cho, Aichi Prefecture.
November 1986	Closed Chigasaki Factory. Opened Tokyo office in Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo.
August 1997	Built a new factory on the head office premises.
February 1999	Moved Tokyo office to Asakusabashi, opened showroom at same site.
August 2002	Established a joint venture factory with C&S Travelware INC. in Zhongshan Guandong, China
